Captcha After submitting your Direct Loan Application Form to the Financial Aid Office you will be directed to complete the Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN)and Entrance Counseling. All student borrowers at Walla Walla Community College must complete these items. If you have previously completed a Direct Loan Master Promissory and/or Entrance Counseling. The Federal Direct Loan is a financial aid program and is subject to the same enrollment and academic progress requirements as all other federal and state financial aid programs. Federal Direct Loan funds other than tuition & fees each quarter will not be disbursed to students until they have commenced attending classes for that quarter and grades are in compliance with Walla Walla Community College’s satisfactory academic progress policy. ***If you are a first-time borrower of federal loan funds and are in the first year of your program, federal regulations require Walla Walla Community College to hold your loan funds for 30 days of attendance. Loan funds will be released after 30 days of attendance if you are making Satisfactory Academic Progress in all classes. Loan funds are equally disbursed over the quarters of attendance.
